THE CHALLENGE

Vainu is expanding rapidly with its global pres­ence and employs many new employees every year. An orga­ni­za­tion of 100 employees, 70 new employees in several coun­tries, and the following year the goal was 100 new employees. The chal­lenge is to find the right people, onboarding them as fast as possible and have them use Vainu’s sales method.

We have offices in Europe and the United States. We asked Join21 to provide concrete insights and advice on how the orga­ni­za­tion could best execute the expan­sion and exploit the intel­lec­tual capital of employees in the orga­ni­za­tion? It is impor­tant to include new employees in the orga­ni­za­tion in a good way, and find solu­tions to how a new employee can bring value to the company as quickly as possible. There are many good employees so it is impor­tant to reuse and transfer best prac­tices between employees in different func­tions and country offices. We lose valu­able time if we find solu­tions we already have. We must opti­mize the flow of knowl­edge between func­tions and loca­tions.”

Some key network drivers were iden­ti­fied that are impor­tant for supporting the growth and value creation across the company’s func­tions and employees. Increased flow of knowl­edge between employees is essen­tial for strong customer devel­op­ment and market success. Opti­miza­tion of the inter­ac­tion and knowl­edge sharing through the estab­lish­ment of smart teams (expert networks) were iden­ti­fied. Through the analysis, leaders gained several tools for working with manage­ment, infor­ma­tion flow, inno­va­tion, expert networks, and energy. For many orga­ni­za­tions, also for Vainu, good two-way commu­ni­ca­tion is extremely impor­tant to main­tain a strong culture and high energy envi­ron­ment.
